Internal Audit Financial Advisory - Assistant Manager

My client is a leading global consultancy who are seeking an Assistant Manager to join their expanding Financial Services Advisory and Internal Audit team based in the North West. This is a high level assurance delivery role with huge emphasis on stakeholder relationship management.

The client portfolio is varied and this is a fast moving and dynamic team. We seek candidates from either an audit or compliance background with understanding and demonstrable experience in either banking, insurance, asset management or wider financial services.

You will lead and ensure the delivery of a portfolio of audits for the client base. You will supervise, mentor and support more junior members of the team and will gain broad experience of delivering audits and projects across the client portfolio.

This client operates a strong promote from within policy and so ambitious applicants will be well taken care of. The promotion cycle is every 6 months and internal promotion is taken very seriously. Previous or current consultancy experience is considered to be advantageous but we also welcome applications from candidates from industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for an audit professional who is keen to gain some leadership and managerial experience whilst working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The successful candidate can be based from any of our North/North West offices with much of the week continuing to be based from home.
