Senior Forensics Specialist - Krakow, Poland

KPP Search is currently partnered with a market-leading production company. They are currently looking to expand their European Governance team. At this present moment, they are searching for Forensics professionals to step into a Senior Forensics position based in Krakow, Poland.

As a Senior Forensics Specialist, you will be part of the wider European function which has business interests and operations around the world. You will be tasked with leading and joining various internal forensics projects in order to remove or mitigate any related problems that the business may encounter e.g financial crimes.

You will be expected to conduct fraud awareness training sessions across the perimeter in order to detect frauds and train & sensitize internal stakeholders in various departments and functions to the dangers of fraudulent behaviour.

This will also include the investigations of financial impropriety through analysis, research and in-depth review of files and documents in a global business environment.

Alongside this, you will be given opportunities for growth, including performance-based promotion/rewards, international business trips and a rotation into the business. The team is very diverse with team members coming from an array of different countries and backgrounds.

This position reports directly to the Head of Europe.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Management of data and programming skills which includes extracting, manipulating and processing complex and high-volume data from multiple sources for investigations.
  • Being an active and helpful team member.
  • Providing assistance to the acquisition and analysis of devices e.g. laptops, desktops, mobile devices, web-mail providers, and cloud services.
  • Production of detailed reports on investigations to support any findings. 
  • Presentation of findings to the audit committee and other stakeholders in management.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 5-6 years of professional working experience (at least 2-3 years professional forensics experience) within a top-tier accountancy/audit firm or a globally recognised company with a medium-large sized team. At least 2-3 years of professional forensics experience.
  • Business fluency in English and Polish is mandatory.
  • Preferred qualifications: CA/CPA/ACCA/CIA/CFE (CFE is preferred).
  • Working knowledge of SAP is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the field of digital forensic and data mining/analytics is preferred
