Head of Internal Controls
IAC are exclusively recruiting for a FTSE250 Head of Internal Controls. The Head of Internal Controls will report into the Head of Risk and Controls who in turn reports into the CFO. The task of this new department is to design, implement and communicate an internal controls framework across the decentralised organisation. Essentially, what do good controls look like - this is your opportunity to consult the business. With UK Sox approaching, you will advise the business on how to bring in a strong framework; working alongside a co-source.
The role will be autonomous; working alongside the Head of Risk and Controls, helping to manage a co-source, and communicating with the controls owner across the business.
Given the nature of the business, you can work remotely; the office is in Egham, Surrey, and you will be expected to be their once a week or once a fortnight dependant on your home location. If you are more local to Egham, you are more than welcome to come to the office more regularly.
The ideal candidate will have circa 5 years PQE experience, from an audit, risk or controls background. An ACA, ACCA or international equivalent will be necessary. You should have strong internal controls design, mapping and implementation experience, and be able to confidently advise the business on what a good controls framework looks like. SOX or J-SOX controls experience would be highly desired. Key stakeholder communication and engagement is a must.
Salary is circa £90,000 plus bonus and benefits.
