Internal Audit Manager

Our client, a FTSE 150 listed business with an international footprint, seeks an Internal Audit Manager for its growing corporate audit team.
As an Internal Audit Manager your primary responsibility will be to provide independent, objective assurance as to the effectiveness of the organisation's control framework. This will be primarily through the delivery of the annual audit plan and partnering the senior executives in order to remediate any issues arising.
Additionally, you will also be responsible for participating in mentoring and supervision of more junior auditors to support the assurance work being performed across the organisation.

The role will provide a high level of access to both senior management as well as Audit Committee and Board level as well as working closely with all areas of the business both nationally and internationally.
The Internal Audit function will provide an excellent opportunity for exposure to the entire Group and can provide a great stepping stone into the business.

Applicants should hold recognised accounting (preferred) or auditing qualification - ACA, CA, CPA, ACCA, CIA, IIA and come from a strong commercial internal auditing background, ideally within an international organisation.

Whilst London based with a hybrid working model (2 or 3 days in the office from 2022), travel will be required to operational sites around Europe and potentially further afield when restrictions are lifted.

Qualifications / skills / attributes

• Qualified accountant or audit professional - ACA, CA, CPA, ACCA, MIIA, CIA or equivalent -
• Ideally Big 4 or Top 10 practice trained
• Post qualification audit experience gained in a commercial organisation
• Strong relationship management and influencing skills
• Staff supervisory and mentoring experience
• Excellent written English to be able to communicate and collaborative individual
• Highly motivated, honest, approachable and collaborative individual
