We have a unique opportunity for someone to contribute their talents and strengths as an Internal Auditor on our Global Internal Audit team.

The Internal Auditor is responsible for executing and reporting on operational, financial, and regulatory related audits in accordance with the annual audit plan.

A Role You Will Love

The Internal Auditor is primarily responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on operational, financial, and regulatory related audits in accordance with the annual audit plan. Able to deliver high quality, well controlled, independent, and objective Audit Execution, supported by comprehensive audit files. The individual is also effective in Audit Delivery to ensure the timely delivery of audit work papers and reports and mitigation of delivery obstacles.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage compliance with Computershare global policies, procedures, and processes, including the Internal Audit methodology.
  • Be a supporter of change, including identifying enhancement opportunities and challenging the status quo, to improve the operation of the Internal Audit function.

What Will You Bring to The Role?

The Internal Auditor Supports continuous improvement of company processes, systems, and policies. Has experience of effectively interacting with internal/external clients/Statutory & professional bodies and external Audit partners, to deliver effective outcomes. Is also able to communicate effectively (across all mediums) with the ability to adapt style to engage with all levels within the organization.  

Other education and key skills required for the role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent work experience
  • A professional audit, accounting or business qualification, or willingness to study (CIA, CISA, CRMA, CPA, CA, CMA, CGA).
  • Understanding of Post-audit control failures and incidents
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance results
  • Understanding of Internal Audit Scorecard
  • Stakeholder feedback / Post-audit survey scores
  • Time reporting (audit engagement budgets)
  • Basic experience of partnering with business stakeholders, with the ability to work a range of colleagues in the organization
  • Understanding of internal audit in terms of processes, procedures, systems, theories and practices.
  • Understanding of Compliance management, Risk Management and Quality
  • Basic experience of partnering with business stakeholders, with the ability to work a range of colleagues in the organization
  • Understanding of how the functions of the enterprise work together
  • Understanding of the external competitor landscape
  • Understanding of understanding of the regulatory landscape
  • Ability to meet or exceeding defined goals and targets
  • Embraces diversity and inclusion within the workplace
  • Ability to analyze internal and external data
  • Collaborate with a range of colleagues within the organization
  • Deliver quality work on or before deadlines.
  • It is expected that this position may include travel up to 30% of the time.  This is subject to change based on many factors, including business needs.
