Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit an Internal Auditor

The company:- is a global electronics manufacturer and instantly recognisable brand with a presence in the US, mainland Europe, EMEA regions and the Far East.

The company generate revenues in excess of £600m and employ over 1200.

The Role:-

• Reports to the Risk & Compliance Manager and will have responsibilities for preparing the annual (JSOX) audit plan based on the scope provided by the Risk Management team.
• Prepare monthly reports on SOX activities, conduct SOX testing, review controls and processes, including flow charts, risk and control matrices as well as support the implementation of new or modifying existing controls to ensure all documentation is current and in line with Company policies.
• Perform annual walkthroughs, perform operational testing, root cause analysis, document control deficiencies and propose improvements.
• Co-ordinate and liaise with external auditors, providing guidance and recommendations on control activities, whilst building strong, collaborative working relationships within the Group.

The Person:-

• Graduate, perhaps part qualified ACCA,ACA, CIA,IIA with at least 3 years' experience in an audit position.
• Well presented, confident and outgoing with excellent influencing skills.
• Strong IT skills, familiarity with SAP/Advanced Excel desirable, but not essential.
