Internal Audit Manager

The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC)* has been exclusively mandated by our client, a niche UK Service Provider, to assist in their search for an Internal Audit Manager.

This is very exciting time to be joining the business as the new CEO embarks on new projects including a new corporate sustainability program as well as an exciting digital transformation project.

This position will suit an Internal Audit professional looking for a fresh challenge, working in a friendly and collegiate environment and for an innovative and forward thinking business.

Responsibilities:

You will execute audits at an individual level, from planning to fieldwork to reporting, but value and use the knowledge and strengths the entire team has.

You will also have responsibility for carrying out any consulting activities as required by the business and facilitated through the Head of Audit.

You will be able to contribute digital solutions to audit testing including, but not limited to, continuous auditing.

You will have opportunities to do other ad-hoc pieces of work and to participate in the current projects on our plan i.e. Data Analytics, GRC Product development and Assurance Mapping.

You will perform fraud investigations as required

Background Requirements

As a minimum for this role, you will have graduate level education with a recognized accountancy qualification or IIA qualification or comparable, ideally gained through a Big 4 accountancy firm.

You should have extensive internal auditing experience gained either within financial services or a commercial environment, to include both operational and financial auditing. Experience in auditing IT controls and / or insurance operations would be beneficial.

If you have experience in data analytics, continuous auditing and / or other digital solutions, this would be advantageous as would experience in the automotive or general insurance market.
