Senior Internal Auditor

The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC) is assisting a global manufacturer with a strong UK presence to recruit a Senior Internal Auditor

Reporting into the Head of Audit, you will play a leading role in the delivery of the SOX programme and a broad range of operational and financial audits.

The audit function has been developing and growing, and the Head of Audit is seeking someone who can aide in that development and growth so it’s a great opportunity for you to help shape things and progress your own role. 

Required from you is good knowledge of SOX requirements and experience in SOX testing, and experience in internal auditing planning through to reporting stages.  The ability to communicate and challenge across levels will also be key.

In terms of their culture, the business places an emphasis on helping one another so it’s important you are a team player.

Those coming from a professional services firm or those currently working within industry in a similar level role are being equally considered.  Ideally you will be a qualified accountant or auditor with a couple of years post-qualified experience.

Travel will be low and mainly UK based, but there is scope to travel internationally, should you wish, in the coming years.

Once restrictions are lifted, the working model a hybrid home/office based.
