Senior Internal Auditor - Financial Services

My client is a leading provider of financial services and Jefferson Tiley are assisting them with the recruitment of a Senior Internal Auditor to join their established team at either their Surrey or South Coast offices. The team are currently working from home with 2 days a week in the office and this will be the pattern going forward.

This is a critical hire and the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering full end to end internal audits and investigations across the business. You will assist the internal audit leadership team as they report on the effectiveness of the risk management and control framework operating within the business to the Board and Audit Committee. Internal Audit is highly visible across the business and this role would suit an ambitious candidate, potentially seeking to make their first move into industry from a consultancy.



Within the internal audit team this client has a diverse range of skillsets, but they are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have experience of auditing projects or have operational conduct risk experience. Therefore any applicants who can demonstrate this particular knowledge base would be considered of particular interest to the hiring manager.

Therefore, applicants must be able to clearly demonstrate strong written and verbal English and have strong relationship management skills. Stakeholder engagement will be a critical part of this role as the internal audit team are very keen to add value in all aspects of their role. Ideally applicants will be ACA, ACCA, CIA, CIIA qualified (or equivalent) and have financial services internal audit experience.
