Taylor Root are pleased to be working with a global financial services company to help them find an Internal Audit Manager. As a company they have offices around the globe and are looking for their audit team to go from strength to strength with the addition of this position.

If you are experienced within financial services with experience in either external audit or internal audit and are looking for the next step in your career then this is the place for you.

The Opportunity…

• The opportunity to lead and take ownership of audits ensuring the highest quality of work
• Working closely with the Head of Internal Audit to develop the audit plan
• Ensuring the controls in place at the company are effective and putting new ones in place if needed
• Work together as a team to deliver the audit plan and objectives set out for the year
• Liaise with stakeholders and senior managers to inform and advise on observations within the audit findings
• Communicate with all areas of the business and maintaining relationships at all levels

Your Experience..

• Detailed experience working within an internal audit function in financial services or within external audit doing the same
• Qualified accountant with either ACA or ACCA qualifications or equivalent
• Great stakeholder management and communication
• Ability to work under pressure whilst also being accurate with the work
• To be able to work autonomously or as part of a team
• Project management skills in order to contribute to the audit plan and other areas
• Sound understanding of internal audit methodology
