Job Details
Formed in 2010, the Audit Partnership provides assurance, consultancy, risk and counter fraud services to both Dartford Borough and Sevenoaks District Councils.
This role is key to the delivery of Council services to ensure that all processes run effectively and are productive, through the provision of value-added and insightful assurance and consultancy.
You will manage your own workload, dealing with an assortment of audits and therefore you will need to be well organised with a commitment to quality, accuracy and meeting deadlines.
As a committed team player you need good written and verbal communication skills. Dealing with clients is an important part of the role and you must be dedicated to providing high quality customer service.
As part of your development here at Sevenoaks, you will advance your skills through formal and informal training, working on complex projects with more senior staff and coaching opportunities.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- 3 A-levels or equivalent
- Part or fully qualified IIA, AAT, CIPFA or ACCA, or other relevant qualification (e.g. Risk Management, Counter Fraud, CISA) or significant relevant experience
- Knowledge of Public Sector Internal Audit Standards (PSIAS)
In this role, you will across both Sevenoaks District Council and Dartford Borough Council Offices, though both Councils operate agile working policies meaning you will have the opportunity to work from home up to 3 days a week.
