Asset Management Auditor

A London based financial services group is currently seeking an Asset Management Auditor to join their internal audit function

The main purpose of this role is to execute and manage audits to support the effective delivery of the Annual Audit Plan and other Internal Audit activities, for the Asset Management business. The aim is to assist in managing the associated risks and provide recommendations on how to improve the control environment.

Applicants should be professionally qualified audit professionals (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIA etc) with demonstrable expertise in the Asset Management sector. The ideal candidate would have both exposure to front office audits (e.g. equity / bond trading desks, portfolio management etc) and an understanding of the middle and back office operations within asset management (e.g. credit and market risk management, market abuse, best execution, investment mandate restrictions etc)
