Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Data Migration & Integration Specialist to join our Computershare Governance Services (CGS) team, which can be based in Toronto, Edinburgh, London or Monaghan and will be a hybrid position (part-time remote, part-time from the office).

A role you will love
As one of our Data Migration & Integration Specialists, you will conceive, design, and develop reusable tools, applications, and APIs to facilitate the migration and integration of Data into Computershare applications.
You will also be the go-to team for data related application support; working as an SME, you will use your product knowledge to support, troubleshoot and triage internally developed applications, whilst managing the incident life cycle.
Working in collaboration with your team and the wider department, you will gain an understanding of business needs, deliver solutions, and provide development and data migration services for all Computershare Governance Services products on a variety of platforms.
Some other key responsibilities:
- Apply expert knowledge of industry standards, policies, and organizational structure so that you can work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues across wider business functions
- Proactively evaluate and resolve technical challenges and blockers to minimize their impact on the team’s delivery and/or supported products
- Research emerging technologies and practices to propose improvements and innovations that would benefit the business
- Perform needs analysis to determine data related tools that would most benefit Computershare applications
- Design and deliver reusable code/tools to migrate data
- Configuration of API based interfacing with external products to Computershare applications
- Responsible for the change control, maintenance, configuration, monitoring and capacity planning of specific application set
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement improvements to existing activities
- Perform unit testing on code and assist with system and UAT testing

Technology; here’s what we’re looking for:
- Experience programming for Data related projects
- Experience in a SaaS based support and service environment
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012 and newer
- Experience with installing software on IIS (version 7, 7.5, 8.x)
- Familiar with change control methodology and experience working within a controlled environment
- Experience in data modelling, transformation, and automation
- Experience in SQL, C#.NET and JavaScript is highly desirable
