Location. Greenwood Village, Colorado.

Due to the nature of our licensing and contract agreements, this position will need to sit in our Greenwood Village, Colorado office. Please do not apply if you cannot work in the office.

This position will have a hybrid schedule - Training will be full time in office and then the Analyst will work 1 regularly scheduled day each week and may be required to come in more frequently based on work needs.

Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Specialist with our team in our Greenwood Village, CO location.

A role you will love

As the Legal Specialist you will monitor contested legal matters, exception timeline reporting of files in foreclosure, bankruptcies, REO, new pleadings, issues and holds from company vendors, and coordinate with outside counsel to resolution of the issue. The Legal Specialist will also assist with keeping various department work queues current and within department standards.
  • Job responsibilities as a Timeline High Risk Analyst include completing tasks and review of complex default contested or adversarial cases coded to High Risk.
  • Additional responsibilities include document collection, review and electronic storage, research, analysis, and other items as needed.
  • Assist with data base tasks including setting up items on hold, items in issue queues, and clearing items from exception reports.
  • Work certain assigned queues including bankruptcy, RESPA and title issues.
  • Regular, consistent, and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word.

Strong problem-solving ability, data collection, analysis, and presentation experience.

Ability to gather and analyze information and develop alternative solutions.

Strong communication skills.

Consistently demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness

Education and Experience


High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

F inancial services experience of an analytical nature or operations management experience may be applicable.


Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

1+ years of mortgage servicing or high-risk experience preferred with an emphasis on default administration, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and/or REO.

Legal document knowledge.

Training as a paralegal.

Compensation . Colorado candidates only $18.87 - $25.00 per hour.
