We give you a world of potential

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Governance Analyst to join our People Services team until 31st March 2023. This role will operate within the global People team and will be responsible for and support activity globally.

The People Services & Delivery Team seek to create the best experience for our most important asset: our people. This includes recruitment, learning & development, reward & benefits and employee administration, to ensure that we are an employer of choice in every country and office location.

Over the next few years, the team will transform regional HR teams into one, global People function with a clear, global People strategy aligned with our business priorities. This is an important part of the successful global restructure of the wider business, from regional to global business units.

We aim to deliver an excellent experience for candidates, employees, managers and senior leaders, making it as easy as possible for people to do what they need to do throughout the employee life-cycle.

A role you will love

We are a global business with an entrepreneurial spirit, and we are proud of that. What that comes with though is a fast-paced environment and lots of change so you will be resilient in nature and able to adapt quickly and embrace the pace of change we often work at.

You will work across multiple disciplines within the People team, building knowledge and capability to include People Services, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, Recruitment, Systems and Reward to provide effective support to projects and business as usual activities.

Ensure governance and controls are in place and operating effectively across our People Services & Delivery processes and procedures. Assist with implementing and managing the BAU control framework, ensuring changes are reflected and quality checks are performed, documented and reviewed with control owners.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Identify risks and error trends in manual and automated processes, ensuring they are documented and raised with risk and control owners
  • Perform quality control checks on critical processes, in line with payroll cut-offs and key dates to minimise risk
  • Assist with implementing and managing an effective global control framework across our People Services & Delivery systems, processes and policies. Including BCP, Risk, Audit and Compliance activity.
  • Coach and develop teams members on effective control and data privacy management; ensuring the ACE system is accurate
  • Co-ordinate internal and external audit requests
  • Support with critical vendor reviews, documenting changes and ensuring governance framework is in place and working effectively
  • Build relationships across the team, working closely with the MI team to obtain data and insights
  • Support People projects ensuring governance is applied to all new processes and procedures

What will you bring to the role?

There are no direct line management responsibilities, but you will be required to provide training, support, and share knowledge across the team. At times, there may be some matrix management required when supporting change initiatives or projects.

What else are we looking for?
  • Experienced at working in a high-volume administrative role, ideally across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experienced in creating and operating quality controls and compliance checking processes
  • Ability to identify risks and mitigate by implementing effective controls
  • Exposure to third party supplier management principles
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations and embedding into working practices
  • Experienced at providing training to new and existing team members
  • Highly organised with a methodical approach and a meticulous eye for detail
  • Be able to work as part of a team, using your initiative, whilst understanding the limits of your own authority
