Senior Internal Audit Manager

This Senior Internal Audit Manager role is with an established and well-known Retail brand who are expanding their Internal Audit department and looking for an ambitious future leader with succession planning in mind.

You will play a critical role in managing the delivery of the Annual Audit Plan. You will support the co-sourced partners and in-house staff in the execution of planned audits, from preparation and scoping through to the agreement of findings with senior stakeholders within the business, ensuring reviews are delivered to the agreed timescales. At times, you may be required to deliver some complex audits yourself. You will work the business to oversee and manage the implementation of agreed recommendations whilst promoting a strong audit culture. You will prepare reports for the Audit Committee and be given opportunities to present & contribute at Audit Committee meetings. You will also contribute in driving forward initiatives in other areas such as Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Controls and Business Continuity.

You will be a professionally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIA) Internal Audit professional with strong experience in industry and/or Practice. You must be an ambitious, articulate and charismatic individual with the aspiration and ability to step up into a 'Head of' role in the future. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.

The package on offer is up to £80,000 (depending on experience) + £5,500 car allowance + bonus (up to 15%) + benefits. You will be required to work in the office 2 days/week.
