They are now recruiting for a Senior Risk Analyst to join them to add value to the organisation, initially focusing on credit risk, helping to put the reports, metrics and undertaking analysis working alongside operational risk.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Senior Risk Analyst:
* Prepare, develop, and provide regular, appropriate, and timely portfolio monitoring MI and analysis to inform the business, and identify variances and trends
* Support and develop origination and portfolio management strategies to maximise opportunities within risk appetite
* Use data, quantitative analysis, and knowledge of the portfolio to influence and drive positive change and effective strategic decisions
* Monitor, evaluate and assess all aspects of risk strategy
* Support the Risk Manager through the preparation of product/strategy papers and proposals for submission to relevant committees
* Monitor developments across the credit industry and make use of external market data available to benchmark performance and inform analysis and/or recommendations where appropriate
* Perform research using internal data systems and industry-leading external resources
* Respond to ad hoc risk issues at all levels of the organisation
* Collaborate with cross-functional internal and external partners to implement projects that will improve the health of the business
* Conduct simple to complex analysis to assess the impact of internal and external changes (process, macroeconomic etc.)
* Contribute to communicating the retail risk policies and Risk appetite
* Ensure that the portfolio strategies and processes are compliant with the appropriate regulations and regulator guidance
Knowledge and Experience:
* Highly detail orientated
* Experience within an analytical role within Financial Services
* Excellent IT skills
* Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and projects
