Sustainability Account Executive (m/f/d)

What you will do
You will be responsible for selling large, complex solutions with guaranteed savings in terms of energy savings and carbon emission reduction to high potential customers in various vertical markets (e.g. public, real estate, manufacturing, data centres)
You will promote our value proposition at the executive level by providing solutions to the customers' business and financial challenges
You build and manage long term customer relationships/ partnerships with key and target building owners
You take ownership for customer satisfaction, helping customers capture opportunities for financial stewardship, energy efficiency, infrastructure modernization, operating cost reduction and risk transfer
You analyze market opportunities and develop and implement strategies to both maximize margins and increase revenue growth
You implement the sales process to aid in encouraging and managing long-term relationships and in seeking out, qualifying and closing new sales and savings opportunities
You position renewable service agreements and guaranteed savings as the foundation of managed account relationships
How you will do it
Reporting to the Director Sustainability Continental Europe, you will sell the Johnson Controls offerings persuasively, persistently and confidently to building owners and owner representatives at the executive level while reaching optimal profit levels. You will particularly be focusing on selling performance contracting while ensuring that we maximize our share of customer business.
You demonstrate value by providing solutions to business and financial challenges, including selling, renewing and growing service agreements to both new and existing customers
You build partnering relationships with decision makers to drive the solution sales of our offerings
You understand the customer's financial, business, operational and environmental objectives, needs and requirements and demonstrate financial and business discernment to develop credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment
You develop a network of contacts and qualify and assess potential customers
You use applicable sales tools effectively (Salesforce, Account Management, Account Plan and TAS) to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunity in accounts
What we look for
Bachelor s degree in business, engineering, or related field required
Several years of progressive field sales experience within the buildings sector at C-level
Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills
Demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels
Ability to travel 50% in continental Europe and UK/IE
Proficient English and one major additional European language required
