Computershare are currently looking to recruit a Senior Audit Manager to join our Global Audit Team on a permanent basis.

Computershare’s Internal Audit function and structure supports the global business lines and this position will be an integral part of ensuring our audit resources are focused on key risks across the business.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape the strategy for the department whilst demonstrating leadership across an important area of the business.

This is a 100% remote role so we are happy to consider candidates in the UK, Australia, North America and Canada.

A role you will love

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of a risk based Internal Audit plan, focused on the Computershare’s shared services functions.

This role also presents the opportunity to lead on the development and maintenance of key business relationships within the Computershare shared services functions, and the wider Computershare Group.

Some other key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a portfolio of audit reviews with various departments including; Finance, People, Compliance and Risk
  • Partnering with Senior Managers to work in collaboration on the audit strategy and plan for the shared services functions
  • Deliver high quality, well controlled audit reviews individually and through a team of people


What will you bring to the role?

You will be comfortable working across several disciplines in the business and confident in communicating clearly to all levels of the business with a track record of regulatory liaison whilst maintaining relationships.

You will have experience of developing and delivering audit plans and reviews within finance, risk and compliance in other organisations.

You are committed to quality and excellence and you will show this through your attention to detail, attention to accuracy and an ability to strive for continuous improvement.

Being a facilitator for change, you will be identifying enhancement opportunities and challenging the status quo, to improve the operation of the Global Internal Audit function.

Other key skills required for the role include:

  • Experience of evaluating control environments, including the review of compensating controls and risk mitigation with a focus on external parties
  • Previous Internal Audit experience, preferably with team leadership experience and/or regulatory compliance experience
  • Desired: proven track record of regulatory liaison and/or managing regulatory relationships
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) / Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) or equivalent
