Head of Technology Audit

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company are working with a Global Technology and Telecommunications company to help identify a new Head of Technology Audit. The Head of Technology Audit will provide Group level assurance over Internal control, risk management and corporate governance arrangements of technology operations, infrastructure and cybersecurity services.

The Head of Technology Audit will work alongside the Head of Business Audit to Create and Lead the Group Internal Audit strategy, specifically the Technology Audit strategy and methodology. This role will report into the Group Internal Audit Director and will have direct reports.

The Head of will supervise, technically review, and execute technology audits. They will also be expected to build positive business partnerships with senior technology stakeholders and provide strong leadership, coaching and management to motivate and nurture talent, maintaining a high performing and credible team.

The preferred candidate will be an experienced senior manager or Head of level Technology Audit leader. They will have significant experience and strong knowledge across key technology domains methodology and practices, including infrastructure (networks, databases and operating systems), cyber security, ITIL practices, data analytics, applications (ERP and cloud solutions) and emerging technologies.

The preferred candidate will have to have strong Leadership skills, being able to work effectively in a flat organisational structure. They will need to manage complex internal and external relationships demonstrating gravitas, influence and a supportive style. The Head of will also need to provide insight and innovative commercial solutions, from a risk perspective, while understanding the commercial view.
