Senior Machine Learning Engineer

I'm currently recruiting for a BioTech Start-Up in Cambridge focused on suitability engineering and climate technology engineering. They build products that are aimed at fixing the food chain and engineering food/animal waste into carbon powered animal feed. The work they do is not only aimed at reducing waste but helping organizations become carbon neutral. They are backed by highly reputable VCs and already have multiple high value contracts in place with major retailers.

Machine Learning, and Computer Vision in particular, is central to what they do. This role will see you working on R&D projects all the way to production level Computer Vision engineering. You'll be writing algorithms that tackle food waste, reduce emissions and improve productivity. It is absolutely necessary that you have experience with deploying, or working with deployed ML & CV models. Having the ability to make them work in a production environment is key. You'll have the opportunity to work with leading experts and fantastic scientists.

If the following sounds like you:

Bachelors Degree or Masters or PhD in Comp Sci, Mathematics or equivalent
Demonstrable experience (3+ years) working on the application of ML Systems
Deep understanding of Computer Vision (Object detection, Classification etc) and Deep Learning
Strong Software Engineering skills (AWS, Python, modern development tools, CI/CD etc)
