Job Details
This Internal Audit Manager role is with a well known multi-billion turnover transport business who have an established and respected Internal Audit function. The role offers hybrid working with a requirement to work from a local office in Birmingham or Nottingham 2-3 days/week.
Reporting into the Head of Internal Audit, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of the Annual Audit Plan which contains a variety of risk-based, value-adding operational, financial and strategic reviews ranging from contract audits through to ad-hoc project work such as software implementations and fleet acquisitions. You will own relationships with senior executives across all subsidiary businesses, oversee the delivery of the Audit Plan, directly manage 1 direct report and be hands-on in the delivery of a small number of more complex strategic reviews. You will be required to travel domestically on occasion but this will be roughly 10%.
You will hold a relevant qualification (ACA/ACCA/IIA). You must be an experienced Internal Audit professional - strong, recent Internal Audit experience from industry, practice or public sector is essential. You must have full eligibility to work in the UK without visa sponsorship and be willing to complete the limited domestic travel required.
The salary package on offer is £50,000-£60,000 + bonus + benefits.
