Sustainability Manager - Tech start-up

Huge opportunity to join an early-stage tech venture, backed by some of the world’s most recognisable names in sustainable investing. The company is post-revenue and is building a technology product to help the world’s largest companies increase the sustainability of their global supply chains. Already working with category leaders in private equity, FMCG, food service and logistics they are experiencing high levels of growth and are looking for an emissions specialist excited by working on difficult, but meaningful challenges, learning together with the team, and building a modern company with a great culture.

We are looking for a carbon emissions expert experienced in measuring and accounting for scope1/2/3 emissions within large corporates. A strong understanding of GHG accounting, TCFD and other reporting frameworks is required along with team leadership skills. The role will lead the development of bespoke emissions measurement calculations for complex scenarios and act as a thought leader owning relationships with academic institutions and standards bodies. There will be team management responsibilities from day 1.
