This role leads on ESG work within the Banking and Financial Services sector. You will work with new and existing clients - most of which are major names in the Banking and Finance industry, and you will lead on the relationship and development of business.

The role will include client advisory engagements on all aspects of ESG reporting and regulation, as well as being a trusted ESG advisor to the business internally.

You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business development opportunities to work with our varied client base.

Requirements

In-depth knowledge of ESG with a reputation in the market as an ESG expert and thought leader.
Experience of leading the delivery of ESG reporting and regulatory initiatives (for example TCFD, PRA SS3/19, UN Principles for Responsible Banking).
Excellent knowledge of the ESG regulatory and reporting environment as it relates to banking and capital markets, particularly with respect to EU and UK regulations.
Detailed understanding of the value drivers within ESG, including how to conduct client-specific reporting maturity assessments and regulatory gap/impact assessments.
Experience in developing and implementing ESG risk, governance, and reporting frameworks for banks.
Proven commercial experience, ideally in winning business and in leading and growing teams.
