Senior Internal Auditor - UK Lead
We are exclusively working with one of the leading businesses in their sector, and they are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to be the UK lead specifically for their European internal audit function. The function consists of a regional Manager, and four Senior Internal Auditors across a number of countries in Western and Eastern Europe.
As a Senior Internal Auditor you will be leading a range of financial and operational audits across a number of business units, communicating the findings and recommendations to senior management. You will work both autonomously, and alongside team members on more complex reviews.
You will be able to demonstrate first class interpersonal and stakeholder relationship skills, as a key part of this position is to build internal relationships, maintain them, whilst being objective and independent.
To be considered you will have at least 4 years’ demonstrable experience within audit, ideally from a Top 10 practice firm with some commercial organisation exposure, alongside a relevant audit qualification.
You are able to perform this role in a hybrid capacity, and they have two main offices in the UK – one in the City of London, and one in Hertfordshire. They are happy for someone to be office based either 1 or 2 days a week, with the remaining time spent remotely.
The position will require some travel in the UK, and some travel in Europe (approx. 15%).
You must have UK experience, and full entitlement to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
