Grade 7/8: £26,975 – £30,095 / £30,984 – £34,373 pro rata 

This is a great opportunity to join our stable, forward thinking and innovative Audit Risk and Assurance Shared Service (ARA) team at an exciting time for the sector.

We are looking to recruit a self-motivated Senior Auditor with a positive approach and willingness to contribute towards our excellent reputation for providing respected Internal Audit services to our partners. 

The role would give you the opportunity to make a real difference by providing advice to senior managers, through making recommendations to improve governance, risk management and control frameworks. You will be naturally inquisitive. You can think laterally and creatively research and analyse problems, using your judgement to present balanced findings and persuasive recommendations for improvement. As an innovative individual you will demonstrate excellent team working skills, be personally resilient and be able to build positive business relationships.

The successful candidate will have knowledge, skills or experience in Internal Audit. Experience of Internal Audit in Local Government will be an advantage.
