Financial Auditor

Audit International are working with one of the biggest leaders in the Pet Food Industry. They are a German franchise company for pet food. The headquarters of our client is in Krefeld (NRW). This is also where this role is based. In addition, the Group is represented in eleven European countries and has an annual turnover of around two billion euros. In addition to their stationary business they have around 1,500 stores, and 8000 employees and it is the largest European pet product retailer.

Financial Auditor

• Independent planning and implementation of tests/revisions in the branches throughout Germany and internationally (depending on where you live, possibly with a regional focus)
• Checking compliance with instructions and guidelines (including cash accounting, receipts and goods booking) as well as legal requirements
• Establishing, documenting and discussing measures to remedy identified deficiencies and processing the test results
• Communication of results to branch, area and sales management
• Checking the implementation of decided measures
• You will mainly work in the field and will receive a neutral company car from us (also for private use)

Requirements

• Very high willingness to travel nationally and internationally (>75%), including hotel accommodation
• Experience in (branch) auditing or in branch trade in the field (e.g. as sales manager, area manager or district manager), also in the field of occupational safety
• You have a strong understanding of relevant key figures in retail, strong communication skills and a high degree of self-organization
• In addition to very good knowledge of German, you have good knowledge of English and are confident that you can also conduct international exams
• Valid driving license for cars (class B)
