Meraki Talent are currently working with a global CA firm based in the Channel Islands who are looking to hire an Audit Assistant Manager with a strong background in Financial Services for their practice in Guernsey.
Your role will involve supporting senior team leaders on audit engagements through effective planning, control and delivery of engagements in line with audit methodology.

Responsibilities of the Audit Assistant Manager:

  • Be the main point of contact for clients, gain excellent knowledge of clients operations and a good understanding of market factors to ensure the effective delivery of audit engagements.
  • Plan, coordinate, direct and control engagements and budgets to ensure effective resource utilisation, excellent service delivery and maximum efficiency
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Coach and mentor junior colleagues, assisting them with their growth and career development

Requirements of the Audit Assistant Manager:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Financial Services experience is essential for this role
  • Current accounting and financial reporting standards including IFRS
  • Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Strong supervisory/management skills
  • The ability to work with a variety of individuals internally and externally
  • Solid organisational skills
  • Ability to motivate and drive teams forward
