Salary: Grade A - £50,466 (National Framework) or £55,484 (London Framework – if you are London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25) – There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £514 per annum for those working from home

We’re looking for an experienced ITDR Manager (with practical experience of implementing effective ITDR in a Microsoft Azure & M365 environments) to join our dynamic and experienced team of technology professionals, to play a leading role in the development and ongoing maintenance of our IT Disaster Recovery processes, policies, testing schedules and corresponding “failure mode analysis” and assurance efforts.
You will have the opportunity to build upon your previous knowledge and experience to “lead” and “own” the organisations IT Disaster Recovery Framework (ITDR), working with internal teams/stakeholders and external suppliers and auditors to ensure the availability and effectiveness of our ITDR capabilities for the IT systems and services that we use - implementing and executing suitable testing and rehearsal exercises for assurance purposes to ensure partners and internal teams fulfil their role in delivering effective ITDR.
We use the latest technologies in terms of M365, D365, azure hosting and the ilk thereby providing you with exposure to these technologies. We also work at pace, and avoid micromanaging - meaning that you will have a degree of autonomy that you may not find elsewhere.

What you will bring…
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Operational Business Services and will be responsible for defining and managing the organisations IT Disaster Recovery Framework (ITDR).
As an IT Disaster Recovery Manager, you will maintain and develop ITDR policy and work with the wider Business and Technology teams in collaboration to ensure systems are aligned to policy.
You will be involved in business and systems change to ensure the required resilience and recovery arrangements meet business needs and will ensure effective disaster recovery plans are in place at all levels for technology solutions accompanied by suitable testing and rehearsal exercises.
You will be able to effectively implement and execute audit and assurance mechanisms to ensure partners fulfil their role in effective ITDR.
Within this role you will also work closely with the “Major Incident and Service Improvement Manager” to help ensure continuity of IT services and assist with major incidents should they occur.
