Senior Internal Auditor

My client are a FTSE listed corporation with operations spread globally. They are innovative and highly environmentally focussed in their approach.

Due to a planned expansion, Jefferson Tiley are assisting them with hiring an Internal Auditor to join their UK based team working (hybrid) from their Surrey based UK Head office.



Reporting into and supported by the Internal Audit Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering end to end internal audits across the group. This will involve an element of overseas travel on occasion (c20-30%). Using the company methodology you will scope, test and conduct fieldwork, make evaluations, interpret results, write reports and deliver the findings.
• Communication skills are essential in this role and a proactive and professional manner is essential as to build and develop relationships with Senior Stakeholders.
• You will also have the opportunity to get involved with ££multimilion projects and have input into various risk committees across the business.

This is a dynamic and fast moving organisation that has a proven footprint of promoting internal auditors into operational roles within the business. A good common sense approach and desire to add value is essential.

The role is a mixture of operational and financial audits and as such the successful applicant will be qualified (or nearly qualified) in ACA, ACCA, CIA, CMIIA or equivalent.
