Credit Risk Analytics Senior Manager - Financial Services - FULLY REMOTE GBP60,000 - GBP70,000+ bonus + 25 days holiday + pension + health-care Fully remote role - - You must be a resident of the UK and have recent UK experience within Financial Services and ideally Mortgage Lending - - Our client, is a well recognised UK business, and a key leader within it's industry and are based in London and the Thames Valley, and require a Credit Risk Analytics Senior Manager to join their friendly, experienced Credit Risk Team. The successful Credit Risks Analytics Senior Manager will reports to the Head of Credit Risk and will be an opportunity for you to own and manage the development, maintenance and enhancements of Credit Risk Reporting and Advanced Analytics for our client and you will support them with management of all credit risk related activities including second line of defence oversight and working closely with underwriting, servicing and recovery teams to support their decision making and policy development with high level analytics Your overall responsibilities will be very varied and will include: Owning the credit risk life cycle reporting ensuring accuracy of content and timely production Leading all Credit Risk Portfolio Analytics activity including portfolio deep dives, segment performance reviews and thematic reviews Leading the approach to identifying opportunities through data especially through credit reference agency data Take ownership of Audit and Risk committee reporting and ExCo reporting including informative commentary End to end development and validation of IFRS 9 models (including PD, LGD and EAD) and affordability models Develop forecasting models for delinquency, losses and stress testing of portfolio Be responsible for the model governance and documentation in relation to all models within the credit risk function Manage the credit risk Internal appetite and reporting as well as external covenant testing with funders Deputise for the Head of Credit Risk on various meetings Mentor and develop the analysts within the team Maintain relationships with key third party suppliers (credit reference agencies, risk strategy systems, automated valuation models) The successful Credit Risk Analytics Senior Manager - Financial Services - will offer: Ideally degree educated in a numerate discipline Ideally 5+ years in a Financial Services organisation Experience of mortgage lending (Buy to Let and Residential) Strong coding language skills (preferable SAS and SQL). R-code skills would also be desired Experience in dealing with Executive and Senior management This is a really unique Credit Risk role, for someone keen to put their next foot in the door of a superb articulate and drive Credit Risk team. My client is currently working fully remotely but for as and when you are in the office (maybe one day a month for team meetings) my client can offer very modern offices, free parking and ideally you will have a car and full driving license.
