ESG Senior Finance Analyst

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be recruiting a ESG - Senior Finance Analyst for a market leading organisation located in Doncaster. The importance of ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance), has grown significantly in recent years, as investors, employees and consumers pay greater attention to a business' ESG performance alongside their financial performance. Key responsibilities in this role will include: Lead various ESG-related projects including; managing targets included in Sustainability Linked Loan, main contact for emissions assurance and various ESG consultancy work Draft the Sustainability & Responsibility report included in the Annual Report & Accounts, including reporting against the mandatory TCFD disclosures Support on other Annual Report and financial reporting activities including content for investor presentations Establishing robust data collection processes for ESG-related areas Working with the risk management team to ensure ESG risks are embedded within the overall risk framework of the business Monitor, compare and contrast ESG strategy through engaging rating agencies, submitting ESG surveys and assessing performance relative to peers Work directly with the Sustainability Director as a business partner managing and reporting on the ESG budget Roadmap / emission reduction initiatives / business cases for ESG Ad-hoc analysis and projects to support internal and external financial reporting requirements Key Skills / qualifications: Fully qualified Accountant (ACA or ACCA) Experience in audit This is a high profile and crucial role for the business.
