Do you want to step up a level and work with property and real estate developers and investors, as large as FTSE 250’s and as exciting as owner managed entrepreneurial developers?

Do you want to be the driver behind new business development, have the autonomy to go out and win new business, supporting your progression to become an RI?

Do you want to get involved in multiple non-audit duties like marketing, events and transaction services/corporate finance. Obviously, you’ll still have the audit basics in there too.

If you said yes to the above three questions, congrats. You're in luck. I'm helping a growing mid-tier firm recruit an Audit Manager or Senior Manager to sit within their always expanding growing Property/Real Estate team.

You'll be working alongside 8 others in management positions and be supported by 30-35 trainees/juniors, meaning you'll have the actual resource below you to complete audits without you needing to step in. This will allow you to focus on the other key duties needed of a Manager or Senior Manager as previously mentioned. You'll also walk into an established portfolio and act as a major stakeholder in communications for a handful of clients with larger fees than most.

You'll be present in the central London office 2-3 times per week, supporting your team's development and adding to the office buzz, helping your own energy levels and happiness. Experience zero client travel as well.

Personality is key for this role due to the business development nature of the role; they’d rather a less technically strong auditor with super strong social skills compared to a quieter, more technically impressive one. Someone with a history of property audits is needed however there’s no need to be a specialist; but its key you know how to audit property businesses.

Ultimately, you'll be walking into an established and very, very, fast growing team and business where the hiring manager himself has progressed from a qualified senior to a director in 4 years. Do also note, there are countless examples of such growth across the business, he’s no special case. You'll also have the autonomy to build a team around you and do more than just being an Audit Manager or Senior Manager.

And lastly... salary. Alongside a two-pronged bonus, averaging circa 20% yearly, earn an above market rate basic package - up to £65k for Managers and up to £80k for Senior Managers.
