The role To support the Regulatory Reporting team. Key accountabilities Drive data improvements throughout to assist with quality regulatory reporting Mentor and coach junior team members Provide support for Irish CEO/CFO Quarterly review of Solvency II submissions including ensuring accuracy of data shared with actuarial team, analytical review and production of QRTs Drive business understanding of the data changes Manage quarterly and annual BAU process, including: External UK and Irish GAAP financial statements for UK and Irish legal entities Assist in preparation of narrative reporting (SFCR and RSR) US regulatory reporting (NAIC, TRIA) Manage the Irish corporation tax, VAT and IPT processes, ensuring excellent tax controls Monitor developments in Solvency II technical requirements Capital management - project and monitor regulatory capital Liaise with internal and external audit Support the establishment of accounting controls and procedures for regulatory reporting Maintain and improve internal controls and procedures documentation Ad hoc projects as required You might also get involved in: Bermuda statutory return for the Bermuda legal entity BMA quarterly and annual reporting for Bermuda entities (BSCR) Regulatory reporting to the FCA for UK legal entities (RMAR) Other regulatory reporting (e.g. Chinese reinsurance, Belgium premium disclosure)Skills & experience A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) At least 5 years' post qualification experience gained in an insurance/reinsurance environment Hands on Solvency II expertise, with strong technical knowledge of Solvency II requirements Strong knowledge of the Microsoft suite of applications with expert excel skills Detailed knowledge of insurance accounting Advanced and proven financial, analytical and organizational skills Driven person
