Off the back of successful funding rounds, a rapidly expanding FinTech company are looking for a confident Lead Data Scientist to join their vibrant London office. Lead Data Scientist Role You ll be joining the growing Data Science team as a lead technical specialist and be responsible for designing, building, testing and implementing series of propensity-based data science models to enhance their analytical capability and understanding of their customer base. As a senior figurehead of the business, you ll also provide mentorship for other Data Scientists and ML Engineers across the team. Lead Data Scientist Requirement The required skills for the role are; MSc of higher in an analytical discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Statistics Solid Python programming skills Experience with coding best practices, test-driven development, code review and Git Understanding of Machine Learning techniques and algorithms Sound understanding of Data Science fundamentals Previous experience within the FinTech space would be beneficial although not essential Having the right balance of flexibility and ensuring they keep their culture is hugely important, so they operate a hybrid working scheme, being based in the office twice weekly.
