Internal Audit Manager

The Audit and Risk Recruitment Company (ARRC)* are recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor for a large transport and supply business within the automotive industry. This role is newly created within the team in preparation for the business's expansion later this year.

This is a key role within the business, assisting the audit team with the completion of the annual audit plan. You will undertake independent audits of business processes and activities, as well as advising on issues of risk and control.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced auditor (ACA, ACCA, CIA or an individual with significant audit experience) to enter into a business at a time of significant growth, with further team members added into next year.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent.
• A recognised financial (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or auditing (MIIA, PIIA, CIA) professional qualification.
• Full UK Driving License as role involves approximately 40% nationwide travel.

Essential experience

• Considerable experience in the auditing of controls- including financial, operational and regulatory.
• Demonstrable understanding of business strategies, processes, risks and controls.
• Ability understand and clearly convey the risks and root causes associated with audit findings.
• Strong report writing skills, able to convey critical information clearly and succinctly.
• Good understanding of IT systems.
• Ability to challenge management thinking but also work in partnership to improve the business.
