A financial services organisation are recruiting for a Risk Manager to join their expanding team and in Southampton.

Your new role
As a Risk Manager you will support the Director, Head of Compliance and Risk Assurance/Regulatory Compliance team in the execution of an effective programme of risk assurance.

Responsibilities include:

• Completing ongoing regular testing on key areas identified as presenting risks
• Managing other members of the Risk Assurance team
• Risk-based thematic monitoring
• Assisting with the development and continual evolution of the Risk monitoring and testing programme

What you'll need to succeed

• Relevant finance industry experience
• Experience within the compliance and risk environment
• Good understanding and knowledge of the AML legislation, Orders and the AML Handbook
• Ability to deal with different levels of stakeholder
• Working to deadlines and organising workload effectively
