IT Auditor

The Audit & Risk Recruitment Company are working with an American listed Global Media, Event and Entertainment company. The company has talent and media agencies across the world and also owns and manages well-known arts, sports and cultural events. 

The company is continually expanding and has recently been listed in the US. The Internal Audit & Risk function is split across the US and the UK and has grown from five to thirteen people in the last 2 years.

Technology Audit & Risk has mostly been outsourced in the team, however they have just hired an IT Audit Director in the US and the next stage of growth is to hire a small team beneath them. This Senior IT Auditor opportunity will report into the IT Audit Director and be based in the UK.

The Senior IT Auditor will help plan, execute and report on internal audit reviews of business units, processes or identified areas of risk exposure across the global company, with the focus being on Technology Risk.

Core Requirements

• Strong understanding of how to test ITGC controls pursuant to SOX requirements
• Understanding of measuring IT risk related to IT upgrades, implementation, migrations for key finance systems
• Understanding of how to lead and test IT application controls
• Strong team player
• High attention to detail
• Effective time management skills
• SAP experience is a plus
