Internal Auditor

A FTSE Listed organisation based in the South-West of England are seeking an Internal Auditor to join their Group Internal Audit Team. 

You will be a part of a well-established and highly respected function, arguably one of the best within the region. You will play an integral role in providing support to the Management and Senior Management within the team, as well as Guest Auditors, and provide overall assurance, robust controls and mitigation of risks.  

This role is offering hybrid working and study support as needed, as well as a clear pathway of progression.

Key responsibilities:

-          Lead audit engagements as assigned

-          Contribute to the timely delivery of audit work, independently and collaboratively

-          Advise management and colleagues as required whilst building and maintaining key relationships

-          Engage in the planning of the Audit programme as well as the coaching of colleagues on specific Audit assignments 

Experience:

-          At least 2 years’ experience within Internal Audit

-          Accountancy/Audit qualification  (ACA, ACCA, CIA etc.) or studying towards this

-          Clear communication and relationship management

-          Timely, independent worker also able to work well as part of a team
