Interim/FTC Privacy Compliance Manager

A large international business offer a 12 month FTC or Interim role, working on a hybrid basis to a senior Privacy specialist.

Your new role
You will develop, maintain and assist in implementing typical GDPR compliance processes, procedures and resources for the company across EMEA and will help the team develop the privacy program and maintain high-standard compliance across all functions involved in personal data processing.

Develop, maintain the GDPR and general privacy compliance processes and procedures, such as Privacy related Policies and Procedures, vendor/processor management (including data protection agreements and transfer impact assessments), Privacy-By-Design, Data Protection Impact Assessments, Data Subject Requests, Data Breach, Record of Processing Activities, training and awareness for functions in charge of processing activities.
Develop and maintain the necessary information on data flows and record-keeping procedures of privacy-relevant matters, and liaise with all relevant business functions, to help the business meet its accountability obligations.
Coordinate the updating of policy and procedures documentation, privacy templates and their implementation and dissemination across the organisation.
Develop and maintain privacy related materials for the team to share knowledge and provide self-service capabilities stakeholders.


What you'll need to succeed
You will have 5+ years' experience working in a senior Privacy role within an international business/law firm.
Excellent communication skills (additional European language skills would be an added bonus (French, Italian or German)
Excellent organisational skills
Current privacy compliance management certification required- i.e. IAPP, CIPM, or similar certification.
Solid knowledge of European data protection laws and significant experience in implementation of privacy programs and at least basic knowledge about information security standards and practices.
