Senior Internal Auditor - Hook with hybrid working

Savant is supporting a FTSE 250 business with the recruitment of a Senior Internal Auditor role. Working as part of the corporate audit team, the Senior Internal Auditor will be involved in the delivery of a broad range of internal audit reviews across the organisation's operations in the UK & Europe, Asia Pacific and Middle-East; proving an independent and objective assessment of the design and operating effectiveness of financial and operational processes and controls. You will work constructively with management to identify recommendations the implementation of which will drive positive incremental changes across all aspects of our operations.

Whilst UK-based with a good hybrid working policy, you will also have the opportunity to visit operations across the UK and internationally.

Skills/Experience

• Studying for or already qualified professional accounting or internal auditing qualification - CIA, CMIIA, ACCA, CA, ACCA or equivalent
• Exposure to and a broad understanding of operational and financial systems, processes, risks and controls
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Previous use or experience of audit management software administration
