Your new company

A major technology based business offer hybrid working (3 days in office in Bristol and 2 at home) to a Risk and Governance professional. This is a very varied and truly interesting opportunity to work across a complex business and advance your career.

Your new role

You will be working with stakeholders at all levels across this large organisation, collaborating on risk and governance issues in the customer billings area

This role aims to protect the customers and business from incorrect billing, make improvements in processes and give assurance on this.

You will regularly be presenting at Director level on risks and performance

Some key responsibilities include

  • Being accountable for the Governance of the Concept to Cash framework, ensuring accuracy over billing and minimising risk to the customer & business
  • Reporting & Presenting: accountable for compilation, production and presentation to operational fortnightly reporting / presentation at director level
  • KPI's & Reporting: collaborating with other business areas to design KPI's which accurately reflect performance and risk. Working closely with other teams, compilation of KPI's into monthly reporting decks for senior leaders
  • Regulation, Audit and Internal Control: involved in Consumer regulation & ensuring controls environment covers off risk to billing / Concept to Cash processes, C2C lead for audit queries

What you'll need to succeed

 

 

 

  • You could come from an Accounting or Audit background (ACA/ACCA) or Revenue Recognition or Risk and Governance background in a large organisation.
  • Previous Billings experience is not essential in this role
  • You will have excellent communication skills with superb liaison skills with an ability work with and influence stakeholders across the business
  • You will be happy presenting to senior stakeholders regularly
  • You will have highly consultative communication ability
  • Analytical skills and a Technology mindset will be beneficial in this role also
