A career in our Centre of Innovation and Technology (CIT) will allow you to develop and apply strategies that help clients leverage technologies so they can mitigate risks, streamline processes, and find operational efficiencies. We cover a wide range of disciplines, including audit risk evaluation, operational and strategic Information Technology processes, system implementation, data integrity, and cyber security to digitise audits.

As a Senior Associate in our Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland office, you will help clients solve problems and create value through data analytics in our audits. There’s ample opportunity to work with prestigious clients and develop the business and technical skills, knowledge and relationships needed to accelerate your career development.You will play a key role in shaping the capability, growth and culture of this team of problem solvers, helping our clients solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. This is a full-time opportunity, minimum 37.5 working hours per week. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering crucial business insights to clients through data analytics and data visualisation
  • Helping businesses make sense of complex data sets 
  • Collaborating with clients to enable them to understand the value in their data
  • Collaborating with a diverse team to develop innovative solutions and overcome challenges
  • Supervising junior team members, training and coaching others

Ngā pūkenga kei a koe / Skills and experience

We look for a diverse set of capabilities, skills and experiences. Successful candidates have:

  • 3+ years experience with widely used analytics tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SQL, R, Python, Alteryx or similar (typically 2 or more)
  • Track record of using data analytical skills to solve problems and derive meaningful insights
  • Collaborative mindset and enjoy working in an innovative environment
  • Skilled in automation, visualisation, advanced analytics, business transformation, business processes, or software development
