Audit in the UK

Within our UK Audit practice, we’re very keen to support and hire South Africans who are looking to take the next step in their career in the UK. We have a fantastic community of South Africans within the firm, so you’ll be supported by people who have made the same transition as you, and can help you settle into life in the UK.

We’re really proud of the strong position our UK audit practice is in from a wellbeing, resource and quality perspective, the latter of which is shown through our recent positive AQR results. Every day our teams help people in businesses and communities to do what is right and achieve their goals. Our tailored and responsive approach provides the expertise our clients need, enabling them to grow and make the right decisions about their future.

Our size and culture allow us to give you a wider range of opportunities within your career, and with our approach to flexible working we’re able to support you in achieving the right work/life balance that works for you. We have opportunities for auditors of all levels to join our teams in Commercial, Financial Services and Public Sector Audit across the UK, in locations including London, Manchester, Birmingham and Milton Keynes.

What can you find out at our event?

  • What’s it really like living in the UK? What are the benefits and challenges faced by South African employees who have already made the move? What is it like working for Grant Thornton UK, a day in the life of….? What do you mean by flexible working? What type of work would I be doing? What is the team culture like? How quickly can I expect to get promoted? What is the visa process about? What do I need to arrange and how does the Grant Thornton UK onboarding team support me?
