Ref: 14309 Role: Strategic Account Lead (energy and sustainability) Location: Homebased (UK or Europe Germany, France or Benelux) Salary: Competitive DOE + 30% bonus + excellent benefits package Summary: We are looking for an experienced Strategic Account Lead to develop and manage relationships key accounts for our client, a leading energy and sustainability consultancy. The Strategic Account Lead will manage specialist International accounts work closely with client executives and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, negotiate contract terms, and provide exceptional bespoke account management service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of client needs in the energy and sustainability space, experience in proposition development and retention as well and the ability to strategically drive sales growth with these existing key client accounts. Key responsibilities: Take on additional global/enterprise responsibilities Work closely with other teams to uncover business opportunities in targeted accounts Assist in promoting the company products and services Develop plans and strategies on how to improve top line revenue and gross margin Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to inform strategic decision-making Lead in contract negotiation for new business on the enterprise level Serve as the executive sponsor for assigned group of international clients Find ways to retain, expand and enhance profitability Skills and experience required: Experience in energy and sustainability or associated businesses i.e Private Equity Ability to influence, with a consultative approach Ideally international sales / account/ relationship management experience Relationship management, used to working at executive level Experience in strategically reviewing accounts - analyse where value can be added Proposition development, sales delivery, retention, upsell, contracts, negotiations Self-starter, able to manage own time
