An outstanding opportunity to join an esteemed Risk and Internal Audit team, the client are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager. This pivotal role is an essential part of the Finance function, contributing significantly to our corporate governance framework and control environment.

A heavy-hitter in the financial services sector, the client are expanding their Function amidst an increasingly competitive market. This is a highly valued Function within the business and indeed held with esteem in the market, presenting an excellent chance to establish yourself where your contributions will be vital to the client’s continued evolution and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Risk and Internal Audit and Senior Audit Manager in executing the audit reports and project assurance reviews across various departments.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the execution of planned, ad-hoc audit, and consultancy engagements.
  • Oversee and maintain the operational risk register, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Instil a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation, promoting the identification and implementation of operational efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Hold a professional qualification, such as CIA, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate expertise and prior experience with technology risk and controls.
  • Proven post-qualification experience in the successful delivery of an audit plan.
  • Substantial management experience in a high-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Possess data analytics experience and skills, with a strong understanding of how to interpret complex data.
