My leading, banking  client is on the search for a highly skilled IT Audit AVP to join their growing Internal Audit Team. This role is a Hybrid-Role based in Cheshire.
 
Responsibilities of IT Audit AVP:

• Plan, execute, report, and finalize audits and other reviews, both individually and within a team, in accordance with Internal Audit policies and procedures.
• Supervising and leading international audits related to Technology Infrastructure, Cyber Security, and Resilience.
• Collaborating with audit directors in the development of adequate coverage strategies.
• Daily management of audit teams to ensure that audits are proceeding in accordance with scope, budget, and schedule plans.
• Participating in additional global TSR Audits as a member of the audit team during the audit execution phase.
• Building and sustaining strong bonds with important corporate stakeholders throughout the audit process.
• Promoting an efficiency-driven culture through the use of automated and agile auditing methods.

 
Essential skills:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT Audit/ IT Security, gained in either a professional practice or corporate environment.
• Demonstrated capability to independently produce accurate and high quality analytical work.
• Solid experience in areas such as in Technology Infrastructure, Cyber Security or Resilience(TSR).
• Strong experience in risk and control assessment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Preferably Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in IT, IS, Systems Management, and certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, TOGAF, CISM.
