The Role

The role will report into the Chief Risk Officer and you will work alongside a large team of corporate governance professionals, who provide risk reviews and assessments of controls, governance compliance, industry regulations, and best practices in order to proactively oversee the business as appropriate.

Other duties within the role including assisting in the preparation of executive management reports and to present key risk trends. As part of the risk team, you will also promote risk awareness across the wider business to develop a strong risk and compliance culture. 

Your Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have an outstanding academic background, as well as be a fully qualified Accountant or Auditor. The role is very much a people focussed role, so it is essential that you have strong communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships. You must be able to take initiative and generate ideas around continuous improvement. It would be highly advantageous if you had experience gained within a Big Four accounting firm, ideally from within Risk or an internal audit or risk role within the insurance sector.
