Senior Internal Auditor

The Company

Fox Global Partners is currently recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join a US listed Multinational organisation based in the East Midlands. Our client is a market leader in their field and through natural growth and acquisition, has grown rapidly across the EMEA region over the last 10 years. The Senior Internal Audit role will be based in their EMEA team and will offer the chance to travel across the region (20%).

The Role

Reporting into the EMEA Region Senior Internal Audit Manager, the role will be based in their East Midlands office and be part of an international internal audit team. Some key duties within the role include

• Reviewing key operational processes and procedures and adherence to legislative requirements
• Coordination and management of the continuous audit program which includes providing ongoing review of critical controls governing fraud and compliance risk in accordance with the Audit Framework and assisting with the ongoing development of the Framework
• Providing advice and recommendations to management to develop and enhance internal controls and risk mitigation initiatives
• Developing and implementing corporate policies and procedures

Your Experience and Skills

The ideal Senior Internal Auditor will ideally have good an accountancy or internal audit qualification as well as good experience, ideally gained within an accountancy practice or an internal audit team in a commercial organisation. You must be an excellent communicator with exceptional presentational and interpersonal skills as you would be working closely with key stakeholders across the business. Other key requirements within the role include -

• Sound knowledge of audit principles and internal audit methods and techniques (e.g. flowcharting, interviewing, presentation of findings, etc.)
• Excellent organisational, time management and planning skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both a written and verbal format with high levels of attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proven skills in negotiation, influencing and conflict resolution
• Computer literacy skills including use of Microsoft Office
