Internal Auditor - FTSE 100

Audit & Risk Recruitment (ARRC) are working with a global FTSE100 distribution business in Central London to recruit a Internal Auditor for their corporate governance team in the UK. This is an international business, and as the successful candidate you will have a global remit covering audits across the UK, APAC, Europe and Asia (opportunity of travelling up 50%.) The team works on a hybrid basis; with a combination of remote working and go to the office around 2/3 time per week.

The Internal Auditor will work closely with the supportive Manager to deliver the cross-regional audits and ensure the effectiveness of corporate governance across the various business areas, globally. This is a highly acquisitive business where the audit team is respected and trusted and is often used as a vehicle into the wider position with recent examples becoming FD's, FC's and product controllers in the UK and overseas.

This is a collaborative team by nature that encourages exchange of ideas and will suit someone who is interested in progressing within the internal audit team or the wider business in a truly global environment. Because of the international aspect an additional language such as Portuguese, Spanish, Mandarin or German would be advantageous. To be successful it is important to have demonstrable external/internal audit experience  and have a desire to travel. A relevant qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIA/CIMA etc.) is preferred, but not essential – operational and financial audit experience is more important.
